Socks
Knitting is a part of Icelands heritage and worth noting that the year 1624 knitwear was one of Icelanders' main export products. That year Icelander's exported 72,231 pairs of handknitted wooly socks. Still today, wooly socks are an absolute necessity in all Icelandic homes.
